Baska is in the southern corner of the island.
Whichever direction you come from, the yellow road signs will show you where the most popular beach of the island is.
Or you can go on the same road by car, although the road is very narrow, cars do use it!

Just right to the road leading the Baska you can find the Sv. Lucia church.
Here they keep the oldest remains of the ancient Glagol Writings, a stone tablet created around 1100 AD.
They are awaiting us with a professional museum guide on Saturday from 10-12 am, who will show us the small, but historically very significant museum.

“Take a big cast iron pot and cover it with its heavy lid.
Put the meat of the lamb, which has eaten thyme, oregano, sage
and lots of herbs all his life into the pot.

After lunch, you can shop for golden olives, Zlahtina, and honey in the Vbrnik market, then head for Dobrinj!
It’s only a 15-minute long car ride.
You can park at the city gate then take a 5-minute walk to the vista point. In the plaza you may meet locals sipping on Ozujsko, the local beer. Upon greeting them with ‘Dober Dan!’, you will always receive a friendly smile in return.
From the look-out of the parochial garden, you can see Silo Bay and Rijeka, on the other side.
It’s well worth walking a few minutes to enjoy the view.

Our Pentecost visit to the Golden Island is coming to a close.
We’ve gone to many places and You must feel tired a bit.
There are only two things left to do today:
We say goodbye to our hosts then have a meal at Prsut House, owned by the Zuzic family.
Stars from all over the world as well as political leaders come to taste Prsut that the Zuzic family has been preparing for 16 generations.
Prsut is not the same as ham. It’s not cured by smoking but is dehydrated by the salty sea wind, similarly to the Italian prosciutto.
Under our feet, through a thick glass we can look at the Prsut being cured. We can also go upstairs to peek at the secrets of preparing the meat.
Like Mr. Zuzic said not long ago:
“Eeverything is made out of Prsut here: the bread (yes, they bake it in the bread), pate, sausage, even the wine. Ok, it’s only a joke…but the wine is kept right next to the Prsut.”

It’s up to you to decide whether to stay in 4-star apartment studios on the west side of Krk, in the towns of Brzac or Linardici.
The apartments house 2 to 6 people.
Shortly after registration, you will receive an e-mail confirmation including the registration number.
If you choose to transfer in advance, we will send the bank account number and the necessary information to you in an email.
If you have any food allergies, or any special dietary needs that you want to observe during your stay, please let us know.
After completing the supplementary information, you can proceed to pay your balance with a credit card.
Our system issues a receipt of the payment, which we forward to you in an email.
We kindly encourage you to register now and learn about the treasures of the Golden Island, even as early as Pentecost!
